V-Sexion & Ntanos

V-Sexion & Ntanos, together also known as Effections, are a promising duo from Athens, Greece, that will initiate you to the depths of house & back.

Effections met in 2004 & started spinning records in 2006 playing alongside internationally known DJ’s such as Gaiser, Ekkohaus & Daso, to name a few. Deeply influenced by Jazz and Funk, they began combining these classic elements by embracing Techno and the more minimal sounds of House music together with rolling percussions, deep basslines and looped, sensual vocals. 2008 was a hard-working year with their debt remix & EP release on Spanish netlabel Flumo followed by a digital release on Chicago-based label Siteholder Uncut.

Individually, V. Sexion released his debut EP on Safari Electronique (U.K) and also signed material on labels such as Catwash Records (France), Diaphan Records (Germany), Time Has Changed (France), Suchtreflex (Germany), Percusa (Germany) and the Athens-based label Rythmetic while Ntanos has offered his tech-house sound to Rhythmetic & Flumo.

Effections are absolutely enjoying working hard to develop their mutual sound and to tease clubs with their upcoming live sets. They are now part of Flumo Booking agency & proudly release their debt offering with Pinksilver Digital in the form of the ‘Fault Day’ EP.

Their podcast mix for Pinksilver brings you the sultriest & low slung grooves that touch on the techier elements of deep house.

Sandy Sitlani

Sandy, originally from India, has spent the past few years pursuing his musical career. He spent some time in Dubai and it was here that Sandy flourished as a DJ. His versatility soon earned him a number of residencies, one of which was at Enigma, the biggest club in Abu Dhabi, where he played along side the likes of Dave Seaman, James Lavelle, Alex Miles and Matty Wells (Smartie Partie). Other residencies and guest spots included Dubai’s best nightclubs, Trilogy and Chi, as well as being a regular feature at Warped, Dubai’s most famous techno night. Sandy was also part of nights such as Shindig, Cocoon and Global Underground, and supported the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Scarlett Etienne, Adam Kroll and Aaron Ross. Currently Sandy resides in London while studying the art of audio production while managing Snubb records.

Snubb records is a relative new comer to the music world but in its short time it has made quite an impact. Snubb, based in Germany, is owned by two passionate technicians, Sandy & Jan.Ali. Their aim for this global, independent musical label was to create a space for talented artists to expose themselves to the world with an accent on quality techno, minimal techno and dub techno but not exclusively. Thus far, Snubb has received praise for their weekly snubbcasts and an enthusiastic fan base has developed after their first few releases which included the likes of well known producers Michael Ho and Argenis Brito.
