Pinksilver Label Night feat. Sandy Sitlani (Snubb Records) Friday 11:08:2009

No rest for the underground elite. Pinksilver are back with another late night for their label party at My Aeon.
This month we are proud to be hosting a fellow underground label, Snubb Records, with head honcho Sandy Sitlani strutting his stuff.
Snubb records is a relative new comer to the music world but in its short time it has made quite an impact. Snubb, based in Germany, is owned by two passionate technicians Sandy Sitlani and Jan Ali. Their aim for this global, independent musical label was to create a space for talented artists to expose themselves to the world with an accent on quality techno, minimal techno and dub techno but not exclusively. Thus far, Snubb has received praise for their weekly snubbcasts and an enthusiastic fan base has developed after their first few releases which included the likes of well known producers Michael Ho and Argenis Brito.
Sandy, originally from India, has spent the past few years pursuing his musical career. He spent some time in Dubai and it was here that Sandy flourished as a DJ. His versatility soon earned him a number of residencies, one of which was at Enigma, the biggest club in Abu Dhabi, where he played along side the likes of Dave Seaman, James Lavelle, Alex Miles and Matty Wells (Smartie Partie). Other residencies and guest spots included Dubai’s best nightclubs, Trilogy and Chi, as well as being a regular feature at Warped, Dubai’s most famous techno night. Sandy was also part of nights such as Shindig, Cocoon and Global Underground, and supported the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Scarlett Etienne, Adam Kroll and Aaron Ross. Currently Sandy resides in Australia studying the art of audio production while managing Snubb records.
We are proud to have Sandy come to Melbourne and we hope you can show your support for two of the upcoming techno labels in the world, Pinksilver & Snubb Records.
Support on the night will be the Pinksilver trio Markojux, Lance Harrison & Daniel Filipovic.
