[psdtl002] Hector Pizarro - Paradero 15 EP

Valparaiso, Chile. Paris, France. Two cities, two worlds apart…you would think. But not for Hector Pizarro, who had to leave Chile with his family at an early age to escape the military dictatorship during the time.

Arriving in France, he began to study in several music conservatories. Fast forward to 2008 and the sum of those experiences can be heard in Pinksilver Digital’s second release – The Paradero 15 EP.

Modern house is what Hector presents on this release, from the deep, synth-laden nostalgic sounds of ‘Gato Negro’ to the more tribal and more primal ‘Retroasado’.

‘Olla Comun’ and ‘Pito’ are bass-driven journeys into the abyss, showcasing intelligent arrangements and layers of sound. Room 10 partner Guet rounds off the release with a remix of ‘Gato Negro’, an eight-minute adventure that takes the original track and turns it into a low-slung harmony.

Whereabouts? Paradero 15.

Netaudio London ‘08 - After-Party

As Netaudio 08 starts winding down on the final night at Shunt, the Netaudio London after party will be getting ready for a storming session all the way from 3am through to mid day at the Whipping House in Cable St.

Musical hosts for the night will be the Netaudio London residents and friends as well as a special appearance from Marko Jux all the way from Australia’s mighty fine net label Pinksilver Net.

Mark has been writing music for the past 3 years, all of this motivation came from exposure to the awesome music scene he discovered in the EU from 2000 – 2004. Mark’s productions bring together a mixture of deep techno & isolated grooves; with an aim to produce post-modernistic music in order to create emotion through sound, scape and reduction.

Now adding to his performance with Rane Serato and Abelton Live, Mark has created a platform to play his own music, his own way.

Saturday 25th Oct, 11pm – Sunday 26th Oct, 12noon
