Craig McWhinney of Melbourne, Australia, started playing records in 2002. He quickly climbed the ranks in the Melbourne scene playing at major parties supporting big-names djs.

In recent years, his high standards have drawn him to other like-minded people in the Melbourne scene – particularly the Pinksilver crew – and together they continue to develop sounds and share ideas. Well-versed on keeping a groove thanks to his days as a drummer in a jazz ensemble, Craig McWhinney builds simple structures and rhythms that move dance floors and speak to the mind. His tracks have been played regularly by melbourne’s local heroes at Pinksilver label parties, MTC events, Hardware events, F4, Kiss FM radio and elsewhere.
